Could secure promotion to UK 100 from in next week’s reshuffle. Shares nicely liquid. Clear rising channel of late. Shares jumped after first half results (8 Aug) with revenues +28% (+7% organic), profits +24% and the dividend increased by 14%. The company’s operations are spread out geographically, and the share price has shown no signs of concern about trade or tariffs.
Risks to Spirax-Sarco shares include a downturn in global growth sentiment, a stronger GBP depressing the value of foreign generated revenues and profits, negative broker comments/downgrades (although we note broker commentary is sparse).
Brokers/analysts are bullish on the shares with only 7% suggesting Sell. That said 83% of brokers suggest downside for the shares, to a consensus target of 6747p. Potential for brokers to downgrade ratings, to be in-line with targets, or upgrade targets, to be in-line with ratings.
