Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open +80 points at 8,088. The UK 100 looks set to rebound this morning, recovering some of yesterdays significant fall, part of a more global rout, which saw stocks across the world fall as concerns of a recession in the worlds largest economy grew.  Having seen the largest fall since 1987 the Nikkei in Japan has recovered 10% this morning.  Stocks fell sharply on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average posting its worst day in nearly two years.  The Dow dropped 1,033.99 points, or 2.6%, to end at 38,703.27.
