Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open -21 points at 8,260.  The UK 100 looks set to give up yesterdays gains this morning following a quiet session yesterday due to the thanksgiving holiday in the US.

 

Shares in Asia this morning were mixed, in Japan the Nikkei fell 0.4% following a rise in inflation in Tokyo which is considered am indicator for national trends.  In south Korea the Kopsi lost 1.3%.

 

In China markets advanced, adding 1.6% in a strong trading session, it was also a green day in Hong Kong, with the Hang Send index gaining 1.3%
