The UK 100 called to open +38 points at 8,285. The UK 100 looks set to open higher this morning, this follows yesterday’s tricky session. Overnight, Asian stocks were mixed as markets prepared for the latest U.S. inflation print. A rebound in Nvidia shares led the S&P and Nasdaq higher on Tuesday, a day after a sell-off in the chipmaking giant. The broad market S&P added 0.39% to close at 5,469.30, while the Nasdaq advanced 1.26% and ended at 17,717.65. Both indexes ended three days of declines. The Dow Jones however lagged, losing 299.05 points, or 0.76%, closing at 39,112.16.
Anglo American’s cycle 5 rough diamond sales De Beers came in at $315m, down from $456m YoY.
AO World posted an annual profit of £34m, beating its forecast and said they expected it to grow again this year by at least 6%.
Aston Martin have announced the debut of their new limited edition sportscar Valiant and said that deliveries would start in Q4.
