Kingfisher have warned on their outlook for the third time in six months, saying that current-year profit would fall short of analysts’ expectations after they reported a 25% drop for 2023-24. They have forecast an adjusted pretax profit for 2024-25 of £550m, below average analyst estimates of £560m. For 2023-24 they made an adjusted pretax profit of £568m, in line with guidance that was cut in November, but down from the £758m they made a year earlier.
