The UK 100 called to open +33 points at 7,494. The UK 100 is expected to start the week on the front foot after strong gains on Wall Street on Friday. In the US on Friday, stocks jumped, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 1.1%, the S&P 500 up 1.2%, reaching an all-time high, and the Nasdaq Composite up 1.7%. In Asia, China’s central bank left its key interest rates unchanged on Monday, as expected by the market.
