Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open -10 points at 7,566.  The UK 100 is expected to make a cautious start today and open marginally lower, In Asia this morning, the Nikkei 225 index in Tokyo closed down 0.6%.  In China, the Shanghai Composite was down 0.5%, while the Hang Seng index in Hong Kong was down 1.1%.   On Friday, US markets ended mostly in the green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.2%, the S&P 500 ended flat, and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.4%. In focus, will be The Bank of Japan’s two-day monetary policy meeting and will announce its decision on Tuesday.
