Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open +51 points at 7,899.  The UK 100 looks set to open higher this morning, adding to yesterday’s strong rebound from the fall earlier in the week, a momentary respite in knife-edge tensions between Iran and Israel appears to be bolstering market sentiment for now.  Stateside yesterday saw the S&P dropped for a fourth consecutive session, as Nvidia and other struggling technology names put downward pressure on the market.  The broad index lost 0.58% to 5,022.21, while the technology-heavy Nasdaq slid 1.15% to 15,683.37. The Dow Jones fell 45.66 points, or 0.12%, to 37,753.31, despite rising nearly 238 points at its high of the day.
