The UK 100 looks set to open higher this morning after inflation data out this morning showed the CPI measure stood at 4%, lower than the 4.2% expected and flat from December. The S&P slid 1.37% to close at 4,953.17, while the Nasdaq fell 1.8% to settle at 15,655.60. The Russell also suffered, tumbling nearly 4% for its worst session since June 2022.
