What to buy? What to sell? This is a question on fund managers’ minds as the seasonal rotation out of winners/losers and into stocks that hold good prospects for the new year commences. This week it’s all about levels.
My Clients have be notified of the following and others: International Consolidated Airlines (IAG) started the week at 570p, a level it has hit 3 times over the last 9 weeks and from which it bounced around 5%. Currently trading at 597p; 5% up since Monday.
CRH (CRH) started the week at 1765p. It went as low as 1740p and on 3 of the last 5 occasions in the last five months it has bounced 10%. Currently at 1859p; 5% up since Monday.
HSBC (HSBA) started the week at 505p. It went as low as 498p a level last hit in early October and rebounded 7% from there. Currently at 524p; 4% up since Monday.
