DJ MARKET COMMENT: London Stocks Open In The Black
Dow Jones newswires – 28 Jun 2013
0720 GMT [Dow Jones] UK 100 +0.3% at 6262.72, with sentiment underpinned by a positive session in the US, following soothing comments on QE by Fed officials. Serco is up 1.4% after a well-received update. From a technical perspective, Mike van Dulken at Accendo Markets says the UK 100 being back above 6200 and 6250 shows progress and leaves him more confident that a reversal could be on the cards. “Given that it is the end of a volatile week/month/quarter, things could actually be calmer,” he adds. US Chicago PMI is at 1345 GMT and University of Michigan confidence is at 1355 GMT. ([email protected])
