DJ MARKET TALK: Fresnillo Shares Rise On Gold Gains
Dow Jones Newswires – 22 Jul 2013
“Fresnillo (FRES.LN) climbs 3.8% to 1068, topping the UK 100 leaderboard, helped by gains in the price of gold, says Accendo Markets. Notes gold has managed to break through the $1300/oz level this morning, driven by the weaker U.S. dollar on expectations of Fed stimulus for longer. Still, sees gold running into resistance around the $1340/oz level, which could coincide with Fresnillo’s shares finding it tough to push above “their 100-day moving average and recent highs around 1170p-1200p.” Gold trades 1.5% higher at $1315.70/oz.”
