The UK 100 called to open -38 points at 8,111. The UK 100 looks set to open lower for the final full trading day of the year in London.
Stocks declined in the States on Friday, led lower by technology names, but major indexes still posted a positive holiday week. The blue-chip Dow Jones shed 333.59 points, or 0.77%, to 42,992.21, falling for the first time in six sessions. The S&P 500 fell 1.11% to 5,970.84. The Nasdaq slid 1.49% to 19,722.03, as Tesla dropped about 5% and Nvidia fell 2%.
