Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open -23 points at 7,325. UK 100 is set to open lower on Thursday as sentiment took a hit from hawkish minutes from the Federal Reserve. The Fed stated they continue to see “significant” upside risks to inflation and suggested further interest rate increases may be necessary. Wall street ended in the red with the Dow closing -0.5%, S&P -0.8% and Nasdaq -1.2%. In Asia Tokyo closed -0.4%, Shanghai -0.3% and Hong Kong -1%.
