Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open -11 points at 7,513.  The UK 100 looks set to open lower this morning, this follows falls in Asian markets over concerns of defaults in the Chinese property sector.  The Nikkei 225 index in Tokyo was down 1.2%. In China, the Shanghai Composite was down 0.9%, while the Hang Seng index in Hong Kong was down 2.4%.

Boohoo today announced the appointment of HSBC Bank plc as joint corporate broker, alongside Zeus Capital and Jefferies International Limited, with immediate effect.

 

 

ITM previously announced a review of strategic options for the exit from Motive Fuels Ltd. Today they said that they have reached a non-binding Heads of Terms agreement for the sale of Motive Fuels has been signed.

 

 

Plus 500 this morning reported robust performance, with FY 2023 expected to be in line with expectations.  Group revenue up on 2022 levels, customer income up 2%.  EBITDA up 17% and EPS up 19%.
