The UK 100 called to open -45 points at 7,398. UK 100 is set to open lower on Monday as the latest data from China added to fears that the country’s economic recovery was faltering. China’s economy grew 6.3% YoY in Q2 below the 7.1% growth expected. On Friday the Dow closed +0.3%, S&P -0.1% and Nasdaq -0.2%. Overnight in Asia Shanghai closed -1.2%, Hong Kong was closed due to a Typhoon and markets were closed in Tokyo for Marine Day.
