Markets Overview:

The UK 100 called to open -15 points at 7241.  The UK 100 looks set to start the week slightly lower, Trading in Asia was mixed on Monday, as weak Chinese inflation data pointed to weak demand and a faltering economic recovery.  In the US on Friday, markets ended lower after strong wages date accompanied weaker than expected non-farm payrolls.
