Continuing share price rebound supported by Brent Crude Oil stabilising after a pull-back on back of ongoing Venezuela/Iran supply concerns. Weak GBP keeps flattering value of BP’s dividend income for shareholders.
Consensus is 46% Bullish with only 12% of brokers saying Sell. This week’s rebound could encourage additional Neutrals (42%) to upgrade their ratings and targets. Average broker target price in May (593p) is close to our profit target of 600p, with the latest broker analysis from Societe Generale (May 28) suggesting a 615p target price.
