London Stock Exchange (LSE.L) – Q3 income up 48% at £308.9m. Income for 9 months year-to-date up 38% , to £876m. Positive signs in primary markets in Q4, expects continuing capital raising activity. UK, Italian cash equity trading and Italian derivative trading ahead of previous year. Closing Price 1854.00p (Reuters)

Pearson (PSON.L) – Said earnings per share after restructuring charges would be lower in 2013, due to weak demand in its education businesses in North America and Britain, its two biggest markets. EPS of 70p vs 76p expected. Closing Price 1298.00p (Reuters)

A.G.Barr (BAG.L) – Anticipated that total sales revenue in the final quarter will be ahead of the prior year by circa 5.5%. Anticipate full year revenue of circa £252 million reflecting a year on year growth of circa 6.1%. Remains on course to meet its expectations for the financial year ending 26 January 2014. Closing price 609.50p (Reuters)

easyJet (EZJ.L) – 7.7% rise in quarterly revenues. Expects to report a loss of between £70 – 90m in the six months to the end of March compared to losses of £61m in the same period last year as Easter falls in April. Revenues of £897m, helped by a 4.2% rise in the number of passengers carried and a focus on costs. Closing Price 1743.00p (Reuters)

Petropavlovsk (POG.L) – Expects its 2014 gold production to decline to 625,000 troy ounces from 741,200 ounces in 2013. Its net debt fell 11%, y-on-y, to $945m as of the end of December, the company added. Closing Price 72.00p (Reuters)

UK 100 Miners – HSBC Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 49.6 in January, from December’s 50.5, suggesting that activity in China’s factory sector contracted for the first time in 6 months. (Reuters)

Petra Diamonds (PDL.L) – Posted a 19% rise in H1 revenue. “Exceptional” 29.6 carat blue diamond it unearthed at the Cullinan mine would lead to strong H2  revenue. 2014 production guidance of about 3m carats for the year. Revenue increased to $185.5m. Produced 1,635,716 carats during the period, up 31% from the year earlier. 134.90p closing price (Reuters)
