Says FCA proposal higher than company’s provision, Homeserve is increasing its provision by £30M. Will now engage in discussions with the FCA over sales and marketing penalty. IGas Energy (IGAS.L) – Will acquire a 40% interest in UK onshore petroleum exploration located in Lincolnshire, with partners egdon, dart energy and ecorp.  Closing Price 107.75p (Reuters)

Sports Direct (SPD.L) Debenhams (DEB.L) Sports Direct has acquired 56.8m shares in Debenhams, representing 4.63% of the issued share capital of the retailer. Closing Price 756p & 81.55p respectively (Reuters)

 Amec (AMEC.L) Provisionally agreed to buy Foster Wheeler in cash and share deal that values the Swiss-based engineer at £1.9 bn. Closing Price 1079p (Reuters)
