Cineworld Group (CINE.L) – Founder and CEO, Steve Wiener has decided that it is time to move on; he plans to leave the business on 31st March 2014. An announcement regarding a new CEO will be made in due course Closing Price 371.00p (Reuters)

Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP.L) and Genel Energy (GENL.L) – Iraq’s Kurds plan to start pumping 150,000 bopd to Turkey next month via a pipeline controlled by the central government in Baghdad, signalling an easing of their dispute over the resource, according to two people familiar with the plan. Closing Prices 155.50p and 982.00p respectively (Bloomberg).

Telecom Plus (TEP.L) – H1 revenue rose 17% to £245.8m. H1 pre-tax profit rose 4.5% to £12.6m. Interim dividend up 23% to 16p. The company have benefitted from publicity following price rises by most of the ‘big 6’ energy companies. Closing Price 1507.00p (Reuters)

UK Mail Group (UKM.L) – H1 pretax profit rose 63% to £11.9m. Interim dividend up 10.9% to 7.1p p/sh. Group revenues up 7.9%. Parcels business (43% of group revenues) H1 revenues grew by 21.4% compared to last year. H1 average daily volume grew 25%. H1 revenues in our mail business (48% of group revenues) reduced by 0.3%. Mail volumes increasing slightly in the half year. Closing Price 585.00p (Reuters)

Exillon Energy (EXI.L) – Acquisition of 14.9% stake by Flowdale investments was undertaken without knowledge or consent of Exillon board. Expects to provide an update on outcome of the formal sale process ahead of the Christmas period Closing Price 263.00p (Reuters)
