Antofagasta (ANTO.L) – Beat expectations with a smaller than expected quarter-on-quarter dip in copper production. Said it was on track to meet its full-year copper output target of some 700,000 tonnes, broadly in line with 2012 levels. Closing price 875p (Reuters)
Vedanta Resources (VED.L) – Reported a 23% decline in core earnings and revenue for the first quarter. EBITDA fell to $1.03bn for the quarter ended June 30 from $1.34bn a year earlier. Total revenue fell 23% to $2.87bn. Closing price 1176p (Reuters)
