Experian (EXPN.L) – Said it was on track to achieve its growth targets for the current year, with its sales outpacing economic growth in the main countries in which it operates. Organic revenue grew by 7% in the period, including 10% growth in Latin America, driven by strong performances in Brazil, Colombia and Peru. Closing Price 1199.00p (Reuters)

Invensys (ISYS.L) – in takeover talks with Schneider Electric (SCHN.PA) after a preliminary offer worth about £3.3bn. The bid values Invensys at 505p a share, a 15% premium to the stock’s Thursday close. Of the 505p, Schneider will pay 319p in cash and 186p in new Schneider shares. Schneider has until Aug. 8th to either announce an intention to make a firm bid. Closing Price 440.10p (Reuters)

Lloyds (LLOY.L) – Invesco Perpetual is in talks to take a stake of up to 10 percent in Lloyds, as Chancellor George Osborne looks to jump-start the bank’s return to private hands. Closing Price 66.25p (Daily Mai)
