Lloyds Banking Group Plc (LLOY.L) and Royal Bank of Scotland Plc (RBS.L) – Last night Chancellor George Osborne signalled he is ready to start the sell-off of the taxpayer’s stake in Lloyds Banking Group, but said he is to consider whether to break up the Royal Bank of Scotland in a move that could delay the bailed-out bank’s return to the private sector. Closing Prices 61.76p and 319.50p respectively. (Bloomberg)

Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP.L) – Gross sales 825,485 bbls, Gross output 832,859 bbls. FY loss after tax $81.8m, cash, equivalents, liquid investments $154m. Shaikan to see up to 40kbbl/d by end of 2013. Closing Price 151.50p (Bloomberg)

Dixons Retail (DXNS.L) – 15% rise in underlying year profit, with sales growth in Britain and northern Europe offsetting falls in the austerity-hit south and at its PIXmania internet arm. Underlying pretax profit of £94.5m vs. company guidance of about £93m. Underlying sales increased 4% to £8.21bn, though gross margin fell 0.7 percentage points. Closing Price 42.33p (Reuters)
