Man Group PLC (EMG.L) – Funds under management (fum) at 31st Dec 2012 of $57.0bn (2011: $58.4 bn) Adjusted profit before tax (pbt) of $278m. Further impairment of GLG goodwill ($746m) Sales of $12.8bn, redemptions of $20.1bn. Proposed final dividend of 12.5 cents per share; total dividend for the year expected to be 22 cents. Kazakhmys PLC (KAZ.L) – Simon Heale, currently a non-executive director of Kazakhmys, has accepted the post of chairma. Simon Heale becomes chairman after AGM on 17 may 2013. Posts 30% drop in 2012 core profit, excluding the impact of its share in rival ENRC (ENRC.L) as weak prices hit revenue and failed to offset rising costs  Closing Price 677.00p (Reuters)

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L) – It had moved closer to being in a position for the government to start selling its 82% stake in the bank. RBS made an operating profit of £3.5bn ($5.2 bn) last year, up from £1.8bn the year before and the highest since its bailout in 2008. Closing Price 346.80p (Reuters)
