BHP Biliton Plc (BLT.L) , Xstrata Plc (XTA.L), Rio Tinto Plc (RIO.L), Anglo American (AAL.L) – China Manufacturing data was 50.4 in February, according to a statement from HSBC Holdings Plc and Markit Economics. That compares with the 52.3 final reading for January and the 52.2 median estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News. A number above 50 indicates expansion. Associated British Foods (ABF.L) – adjusted operating profit for the half to March 2ND will be higher than the previous year, with EPS “substantially ahead”. Persimmon PLC (PSN.L) FY underlying pretax profit rose 52& to £225.1m. FY revenue up 12% to £1.72bn. Legal completions increased by 6% to 9,903 (2011: 9,360) and average selling price increased 6%. Closing Price 909.50p (Reuters)
