ARM Holdings (ARM.L) – IBM (IBM.N) has licensed new ARM Technology for custom chips aimed at networking and communications. Closing Price 960.50p (Reuters)

British Land (BLND.L) – Shares in the property developer rose on Thursday as rumours did the rounds of an £8.99bn, or £9 a share, cash bid from a sovereign wealth fund. Closing Price 623.00p (Daily Mail)

Barclays (BARC.L), Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L) and Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY.L) – The Bank of England will provide easier credit to the country’s banks to help them cope with the scaling back of current liquidity measures, governor Mark Carney announced Thursday. Closing Prices 266.45p, 356.50p and 80.12p respectively. (Bloomberg)

Victoria Oil and Gas (VOG.L) – Operating loss for the year was $11.6m and reflects the high fixed cost element of our cost base. Expect to see continued increases in revenue and decreases in operating costs per unit of production. Closing Price 1.145p (Reuters)

Elementis (ELM.L) – Expect our full year earnings per share to be in line with market expectations. Group’s 12% sales growth in the current quarter, compared to the same period last year. Specialty products sales improved by 15% for Q3. Closing Price 244.30p (Reuters)
