Tullow Oil (TLW.L) – A well offshore Ivory Coast struck water, suggesting the total hydrocarbon column of the field is only 700 metres. “The well did not encounter oil at this location, reducing the upside volume potential associated with the Autruche field” Closing price 836.50p (Reuters)

Barratt Developments (BDEV.L) – Further strengthening of strategic alliance with L&Q. Formation of a new JV to act as the parent entity for the strategic alliance between Barratt and L&Q. The new JV parent entity is BDWZest Developments LLP. A new five year revolving credit facility of £120m has been arranged for BDWZest. Closing Price 336.10p (Reuters)

BP (BP.L) – Announces significant discovery in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Discovery at Gila prospect is latest discovery in the Palaeogene. Closing price 465.00p (Reuters)

Ferrexpo (FXPO.L) – Said its top two investors – chief executive Kostyantin Zhevago and BXR Group – would trim their stakes in order to meet a free float target of 25%. Closing Price 184.00p (Reuters)

Bwin.Party (BPTY.L) – Says overall trading in 11 weeks since 30 September 2013 has been in-line with management’s expectations. Non-executive chairman, to stand down at next year’s annual meeting. Has secured a £50m multi-currency revolving credit facility provided by Royal Bank of Scotland. Closing Price 115.70p (Reuters)
