Severn Trent (SVT.L) – Rejected a preliminary takeover offer from a consortium including Borealis infrastructure and the Kuwait Investment Office, saying the offer undervalued the British water company. Closing Price 2077.00p (Reuters)
EasyJet (EZJ.L) – Roughly halved its losses in the first half, helped by Easter falling earlier than a year ago and strong bookings from customers wanting to escape recent cold weather in Britain and Northern Europe. Closing Price 1130.00 (Reuters)
Centamin (CEY.L) – battling a legal ruling against it in Egypt, posted a 71% jump in quarterly earnings and said it was on track to meet its production guidance for the year. Posted core earnings of $81.7m for the first three months of 2013. Closing Price 36.33p (Reuters)
